61st Machine Records Unit

The 61st Machine Records Unit was located in the Edwards Dunlop building in Edward Street, Brisbane during WWII. This unit used IBM Tabulators to record the details and locations of all US Army personnel in the Southwest Pacific Area. The former Edwards Dunlop building is now the Catholic Centre.
